A Thuistí,

I am writing to request your continued vigilance in respect of Covid-19 safety measures. We have all been asked to reduce our social contacts in the run up to Christmas to ensure that no further restrictions will be imposed on us in the coming months.

We are asking parents to be extra vigilant for any symptoms, NO MATTER HOW MILD, and take appropriate precautionary measures to help limit the potential spread of the virus.

In order to keep our school and community safe we are asking all parents/adults to practice social distancing at all times and to wear face masks. If your child is displaying any of the following symptoms, please DO NOT SEND THEM TO SCHOOL and contact your GP.

  • A temperature
  • A new cough
  • Loss or changed sense of taste or smell
  • Shortness of breath or an existing breathing condition that becomes worse
  • Fatigue
  • Aches or pains
  • Headaches
  • Diarrhoea
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Feeling sick or vomiting

As you are doubtless aware, there are lots of cases in our community at present. We urge everyone to do all they can to minimise the possible spread of the virus.

We have been informed that the Naíonra will be closed tomorrow, Friday, 12/11/21.

Please refer to the HSE website if you have any concerns regarding Covid 19

Le meas,

Ruairí Ó hAnnluain.
