Summer Stars Reading Adventure
Summer Stars is the public library national summer reading programme for children that runs from the start of June until the end of August. All children throughout the country are invited to join the adventure and to enjoy the fun and pleasure of reading and writing over the summer. Summer Stars is non-competitive and every child who reads even one book/e-book is regarded as having completed the programme – and it’s all completely free!
To sign your child up, just bring in their library card and ask at the desk for this year’s reading card. If your child doesn’t already have a library card, signing them up is easy- just bring photo ID and proof of address and we’ll set you up in less than 5 minutes.
